UFFIZI Museum, Firenze

The origins of the ancient and prestigious collection of the Prints and Drawings Department of Uffizi go back to the Medici heritage and are today enriched by numerous contributions of inestimable value.

Every year, about 1,200 researchers from all over the world come to study and analyze the more than 177,000 works of the Department, including drawings by Michelangelo and Leonardo, one of the largest graphics collections in the world.

To support and promote this precious heritage an extraordinary architectural intervention was launched and LEMMA is proud to have been appointed to create about 250 sqm of handcrafted bespoke flooring and other bespoke woodworks.

The highest recognition to the artisan expertise as a real form of art.
